What does working together actually look like?+
It depends on what you need. Advisory usually starts with a scoping conversation — I want to understand the problem before suggesting a format or commitment. Speaking and workshops are scoped individually. Writing engagements vary by project. The best first step is a message with enough context for me to know whether I can actually help.
Will you sign an NDA before we talk?+
For the first conversation, no — a one-page NDA is more friction than the conversation is worth, and I keep introductions confidential by default. For project work, yes, gladly. I have a standard mutual NDA I can send you in < 24h.
Speaking — do you charge?+
For corporate events: yes, with a sliding scale that goes to zero for genuinely independent meetups, university talks, and conferences whose tickets cap below $300. Travel is always covered.
I sent something a week ago and haven't heard back.+
